Lone silver birch (but not for long)
Lone silver birch (but not for long)

The lone silver birch stands in the heather and bracken surrounded by black mounds of peat in which young pine saplings are planted. This is part of the planned regeneration of the natural Scottish forests and can only be a good thing despite the blocking of the view in years to come.

Location: Near Drumrunie, Coigach, Scotland
