At the end of November I went to Anglesey - just as the snow started to descend. Fortunately, although very cold and frosty, little of the snow settled on Angelsey, it being an island. This is the fishng pond on the estate where I was staying, frozen over with a little snow on the surface. I had to wait ages for the sun to peep over the escarpment and light up the reeds. I spent the waiting time watching a fox look for food in the frozen undergrowth.
