After Fort William I went to stay near Aberfoyle, at Loch Ard. The Trossachs is a lovely area but what I hadn't realised is that any weather on Loch Lomond comes over Ben Lomond onto Aberfoyle. So, it rained quite a lot, but the advantage was I saw lots of rainbows !! In the woods on Loch Ard I saw my first red squirrel - just a glimpse before it disappeared up a tree. I had a lovely peaceful time but took very few photos.
