This exhibition by war photographer Don McCullin is currently on view at the Imperial War Museum North, at Salford Quays Manchester. Entry to the IWMN is free but donations are gratefully received.

I've never been keen on B&W images, although the media is slowly growing on me. To appreciate B&W being used how it should be, you have to go and see this exhibition.

Powerful, beautifully composed images, although the content can be very sad and at times upsetting.

My only criticism is that the lighting in the exhibition space is on the dim side.
